Shared efforts
SBA
We were tasked by the SBA with creating a 3D animation to explain its missions and objectives regarding waste management. Through playful visuals and clear storytelling, we wanted to craft a video that not only informs but also aims to inspire greater community engagement in sustainable waste management practices.

The brief
The SBA collects household waste from around 165,000 inhabitants of the Puy de Dôme. department. By carrying out numerous awareness-raising activities on waste reduction and sorting, the SBA places environmental protection at the heart of its territorial project. This video had to explain in a short and simple format the missions and operations of this public structure, with a specific focus on a new approach through incentive pricing (TEOMi) which aims to take into account the actual production of waste from each household.

Our process
We collaborated closely with the SBA to understand the key messages they wanted to convey to the end users. The trick is to turn something as mundane as waste management into an eye-catching story that encourages people to care about sustainability and the role of each one in reducing waste production. We decided on a friendly, stylised 3D aesthetic to make the topic more approachable and engaging. We enjoyed bringing these ideas to life, from the 3D design of the trucks to the treatment sites and SBA offices. We hope that the final animation succeeds in turning an essential public service into an informative and visually captivating little story.
